Do you charge for a survey or a quotation?

No. The survey and the written proposal that follows it are provided at no charge and carry no obligation. We would rather spend the time properly and be turned down than quote without seeing the property. There is no follow-up sequence: if you do not come back to us, we will not pursue you.

Why do you not publish a price list?

Because we do not sell packages, and any price we could publish would be a package price. Cost depends on the size and construction of the property, how the household uses it, what is already installed, and what you are seeking to protect against. Until we have seen the building, any number we gave you would be a guess dressed up as a quotation.

Why is there no telephone number or address on this website?

This is deliberate. Published direct contact details are the raw material for social engineering against our clients and against us; a caller who already knows a name and a direct line is a considerable distance towards being believed. The enquiry form is the single published route to us, and it reaches our team directly.

Why is there no team page?

For the same reason. We publish no information about our staff: no names, no photographs and no biographies. For a company whose proposition rests on discretion, publishing a list of the individuals who hold detailed knowledge of clients' homes would be difficult to justify. You will of course meet us, you will know exactly who is attending and when, and the same personnel will return on each occasion.

Are you accredited? May I see certificates?

Yes, and yes — privately, on request. We do not publish our accreditations for the same reason we do not publish client names: together they describe how a protected property is likely to be constructed. Ask, and we will provide full certificates, insurance documents and references, normally within one working day. Where a certification body maintains a public register we will supply our registration details so that you can verify our status independently, and we would encourage you to do so.

How many clients do you take on?

Fewer than we could. We cap both the number of live installations and the number of new projects undertaken in a year, so that every survey, design and installation is carried out by the same small team. In practice this occasionally means advising an enquirer that we are unable to begin until later in the year. We would rather say so than accept the work and deliver it poorly.

Do you monitor alarms yourselves?

No. We do not operate an Alarm Receiving Centre; running one to the required standards around the clock is a specialism in its own right. Where a household requires monitoring or a keyholding response, we integrate the installation with an accredited provider and manage that arrangement on your behalf, so that you continue to deal only with us.

Do you work with commercial premises?

No — residential only. Commercial and domestic security are genuinely different disciplines, and delivering both properly at our size is not realistic. If you require an office or warehouse protected, we are happy to suggest a company that does that work well.

Which areas do you cover?

Residential properties across the United Kingdom. We do not publish where we are based, for the reasons set out above, and distance is rarely the deciding factor in any case. What governs whether we can accept a property is the diary rather than the map — and whether we can service the system properly for the years that follow, because scheduled maintenance and prompt attendance matter more than the installation itself. If a property is too far for us to support well, we will say so plainly rather than install and disappoint.

Can you work with the system I already have?

Frequently, yes. We begin with a condition survey and a written report. Where existing equipment is sound and still supported, we are glad to retain and extend it. Where it no longer receives firmware updates, or is otherwise beyond sensible support, we will say so plainly rather than maintaining it at your expense.

Will my insurer accept the system?

Tell us who your insurer is and what conditions they have imposed before we design anything. Insurance requirements frequently dictate the grade of system and the form of signalling, and designing to them is considerably less expensive than retrofitting to them. We are happy to correspond with your broker directly.

What happens after the system is installed?

Handover includes training for every occupant and a full documentation pack. Thereafter, a maintenance arrangement covers scheduled servicing, functional testing, firmware updates and priority attendance in the event of a fault, and we carry out an annual review. A house that suited a system on the day it was commissioned may not suit it three years later, and the review exists to catch that before you notice it as a nuisance.
